No other watch manufacturer departs so much from the traditional techniques of watchmaking. Unveiled to the world in 2001, the RM 001 Tourbillon broke from watchmaking tradition. From its avante-garde design, to its innovative use of materials and manufacturing processes the RM 001 stunned the watch world. Now well into the RM series, Richard Mille continues to produce racing-inspired time pieces of unique design.

Richard Mille Watches have blazed a trail in the usage of wildly complex and demanding luxury materials - as diverse as carbon nonofibers, carbon fiber, zircon, grade 5 titanium, synthetic sapphire, ARCAP, ceramic, diamonds, and more traditional Inox steel. Mille's philosophy is to incorporate mostly useful and sometimes bizarre complications (such as tourbillons, torque indications, flyback and split-seconds chronographs, annual calendars, oversize date displays, and power reserve indications). The case sizes of Richard Mille watches, although initially considered extreme, have become the norm in 21st century watchmaking. However, no other watch matches the style of the elegantly crafted, modernist cases of a Richard Mille timepiece. The product line, although not as extensive as other brands, has gradually grown to include the RM 020, a delightful take on the modern pocketwatch. Richard Mille continues to produce a variety of tourbillons, including the RM 002, RM 003, RM008, RM 012, RM014, RM015, RM018, and RM020. The Richard Mille chronograph collection includes the split seconds RM004-V2, the RM008-V2 split seconds with Tourbillon, and the RM011 Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph (with annual calendar). For the ladies, Richard Mille has introduced the RM 007 and RM007 Di - two elegant watches in the distinctive style of Mr. Mille both without and with diamonds.
